mixed experience in a historic building

perfect locationdark roominsufficient lighting
the location was indeed perfect for exploring many attractions.
The room was a letdown. It felt dark, and the provided lighting wasnt sufficient. the only window i had faced a corridor and it wasnt comfortable. also, wardrobe space was mostly occupied by a safe, fridge, and blanket box. It was a big problem for a longer stay.

Acceptable Location, but Disappointing Sleep

great locationtoo firm bedsoft pillows
The location of the hotel was great, offering easy access to the main attractions.
The bed was too firm for me, and the pillows provided were too soft offering minimal support, consequently I woke up feeling quite stiff.

the staff was helpful, and the room was cleaned to a high standard. All aspects of this hotel put it in the high standard category. The beds were enormous and beautifully comfortable after a long days sight seeing.
our room was on the ground floor, and it's bathroom window opened onto a busy sidewalk. there was a lack of illumination in the common areas on the way to our room. the lounge chairs in our room and the library WERE uncomfortable.
